Notes of Interest

Since I made an extra post yesterday afternoon, and the media is in overdrive with the JonBenet Ramsey story, I won’t be too long winded on any particular points today. Here’s a summary of other bits the net is discussing today.

A new poll shows Lieberman leading Lamont. Democratic Underground is in deep denial.

Kathryn Lopez thinks Russ Feingold will be the Democratic nominee for President in 2008. Donkey Digest thinks NOT.

Ed Kilgore doesn’t think Ann Coulter is sexy. Neither do I. I agree with NewDonkey… again!

BullMoose is still grazing somewhere. The far left has one less person to bitch about today.

David Broder says Republican support is plunging in the heartland. When the Columbus Dispatch’s respected poll recently reported that Republican Secretary of State Ken Blackwell was trailing Democratic Rep. Ted Strickland by 20 points in the race for governor of Ohio, there was dismay but no shock among his fellow Republicans. The best that Blackwell could say was that his own internal surveys showed him trailing by only 11 points — as if that were a consolation.

If you’re a rightwinger, don’t mess with Tennessee Guerilla Women. They’ll kick your butt. Since I’m a centrist, they only threaten to hurt me. (oh, and they steal my lunch money.)

Centrist Democrats of America seems to be gaining some attention…
