A new poll shows Joe Lieberman, pictured above with former Senator Max Clelandat a campaign rally, gaining on his challenger Ned Lamont. Lamont, a millionaire owner of a cable television company, held a lead of 51 percent to 45 percent over Lieberman among likely Democratic voters. The sampling error margin was plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
The race has tightened in recent days, with Lamont’s lead cut from 13 points.
New polls show incumbent Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney still trails rival, two-term DeKalb County Commissioner Hank Johnson, pictured above with civil rights hero and congressman John Lewis.
